BMF Hounslow Training Sessions 2026

BMF have been conducting the 'Hounslow Sessions' training runs since the first event was announced in 2015. Training on course has been the key reason Hounslow Session participants have done so well at the event. Head trainer, Tony Williams won the first Hounslow 'Double' (68km/22km) in 2015 and came back as an old bloke in 2023 with a second place in the Hounslow Monster (43km/16km). The 'apprentice', Di Kipp, is soon becoming 'The Boss' with a superb age group win at UTA this year.
The big climbs, steep terrain, stairs, fast descents and rough single track make for a hard course whichever distance you take on.
Training on course is very beneficial if you want to do well at the Hounslow Classic.
BLUE MOUNTAINS FITNESS is one of only a few companies with a National Parks and Wildlife ECO PASS licence to carry out run training on the Hounslow course. We have been training runners for 16 years in the Blue Mountains to complete races such as Ultra Trail Australia, Hounslow Classic, Glow Worm Tunnel Marathon and Lithgow Ridgy-Didge Trail Run.
This is a great training run to get a look at the Hounslow 17km/43km courses and see where you are at with your training. The Run Trainers at BMF have a wealth of experience to pass on - race prep, race gear, training and race nutrition, race strategy, pacing and info on the course.
We do not leave runners and walkers behind. We have plenty of options with the different pace groups and distances. Our Run Trainers are highly experienced and will see who is doing it easy and also those who are finding it not so easy!
We always have some shorter options and plenty of extra km if required!
If you prefer Private Small Group, '1 on 1' sessions or midweek sessions email us at info@bluemountaainsfitness.com.au and we'll see what we can offer.
