LITHGOW RIDGY-DIDGE TRAIL RUN

Perfect Training for Ultra Trail Australia 2026. Steep climbs, single track trails, firetrails and plenty of elevation.

50km and 22km courses have the same vertical gain/loss as UTA.

EASTER 2025 Weekend 3rd - 6th April 2026.

The Blue Mountains is very busy location during Easter and the traffic is full on and the Great Western Highway becomes a parking lot.

We understand this is a key period in your UTA training with only 6 weeks to go until race day.

BMF UTA Training 5-7 hours 20-34-45km

Based around the 34km QV to QV Loop with shorter distances for those training for the UTA22 and longer distances for those wanting more distance and elevation on the UTA50/100km/100 Miler courses.

BMF UTA Training 6 - 7.5 hours 20-34-45km

Based around the 34km QV to QV Loop with shorter distances for those training for the UTA22 and longer distances for those doing the UTA50/100km/100 Miler wanting more distance and elevation.

May 3rd 2026

BMF UTA Training Taper Run 11-24km

A last look at the stair sections of the UTA course two weeks out from race day. This is a great taper run with multiple distance options available.

We can organize private group or '1 on 1' BMF UTA Training Runs. We can also organise group runs in other areas of the UTA courses if required. If you have any dates/routes in mind on the course that are not listed above let us know and we'll get a run going. If you want your own training run we can do that for a minimum of 6 runners. We can help you get the extra runners if you can't find 6.

The training routes above may change due to National Parks/Council closures, landslides or floods or other unforeseen events.

There will be different pace groups for all training runs - from slow to medium to fast pace groups.

Our Run Trainers are very experienced trail runners with a wealth of experience and know the course as good as anyone. We do not let runners and walkers get lost on our runs!
